What are Text Links?

Text links are not graphical or scripted links. They are hard wired into the page linking to your site and are easy for search engines to follow and understand.

For improving your search engine placement they are critical. If you are linked by other means you may receive little or no benefit from it.

Surfers are more inclined to follow a text link, because it does not look like advertising, so your traffic advantage is significant.

A pretty graphic or a flash Flash ad may be seductive for an advertiser, but the truth is surfers are wise to them and avoid them the same as banner ads.

To be good a text link should contain your preferred keywords
